In 2015, Pink for Africa extended its mission of hope and health to the students and staff of Akwamuman Senior High School (SHS). Recognizing that education and health are the twin pillars of a thriving community, we were honored to provide a cash donation to support the school’s welfare and health initiatives.
This outreach was a reminder that the fight against breast cancer and the promotion of women’s health starts with awareness among our youth and the educators who guide them.
Empowering the Next Generation
Akwamuman SHS has long been a cornerstone of academic excellence in the Eastern Region. By supporting the school, Pink for Africa aimed to:
- Foster Health Awareness: Providing resources that help the school community stay informed about early detection and wellness.
- Support Student Welfare: Ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder the well-being of the bright young minds shaping Ghana’s future.
- Strengthen Community Ties: Building a lasting relationship with the Atimpoku district and its educational institutions.
“Investing in our schools is an investment in our collective future. We are proud to stand with Akwamuman SHS and contribute to the health and vitality of its students.” — Pink for Africa Team
A Legacy of Support
Since this 2015 donation, Pink for Africa has remained committed to the belief that community outreach is essential to saving lives. Whether it is a hospital in Accra or a high school in the Eastern Region, every contribution helps build a stronger, healthier Ghana.
We are grateful to the Akwamuman SHS administration for their warm welcome and to our donors for making this impact possible!
