In 2016, Pink for Africa journeyed to the coastal town of Apam to visit the “Great Apass”—Apam Senior High School. Our mission was to provide a cash donation aimed at strengthening the school’s health and welfare support systems, ensuring that students have the resources they need to remain healthy and focused on their studies.
This outreach was a key part of our commitment to reaching educational institutions across Ghana, fostering a culture of health consciousness from the ground up.
Making an Impact at Apam SHS
Apam SHS has a storied history of academic and athletic excellence. By partnering with the school in 2016, Pink for Africa sought to add another layer of support to its vibrant student body. Our contribution focused on:
- Student Wellness: Providing financial resources to help the school manage health-related needs and emergencies.
- Health Advocacy: Encouraging young women and men to take charge of their well-being and stay informed about early detection.
- Community Partnership: Strengthening the bond between Pink for Africa and the Central Region’s educational community.
“Our visit to Apam was a highlight of 2016. Seeing the energy and potential of these students reminds us why we do what we do—investing in their health is an investment in Ghana’s future.” — Pink for Africa Team
A Commitment to Consistency
From the shores of Apam to the wards of Korle-Bu, every donation made by Pink for Africa is a step toward a world where health challenges are met with community support and financial relief. We are proud to have Apam SHS as a part of our legacy of giving.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Apass administration and students for their incredible spirit!
